Resolved Question: Have we seen another so-called coincidence?

Everytime Obama makes a speech that involves an international audience, the Dow Jones Industrial stock average takes a tumble. Yesterday, Obama addressed the G20 in Toronto and spewed forth some goofy ideas. Today, the Dow drops 268 points. Liberals, how do you defend him?

Resolved Question: Where Can I Buy International Reply Coupons in the UK?

More specifically, can I purchase them online? I read on the Royal Mail website that they usually only stock them in larger post offices, and as the largest post office close to where I live is quite a way away, I was hoping I could perhaps buy them online, as I think you can in the U.S. Any advice would be wonderful! Thanks in advance! (: Does anyone know?

Resolved Question: How do I stand in terms of transferring to Stanford, NYU, Columbia, Cornell, UC Berkeley, UCLA?

Hello every! I am going into my second year at a California community college (Mira Costa). Time to start getting ready to apply to transfer to a 4 year university. I was just wondering what my chances are at making it into the schools in my title. Background: High school gpa: 3.5 CC gpa: 3.2 (still have 35 more credits to take, starting to improve my grades, working a lot harder, if I can receive straight A's from here on out, I'll finish with a 3.6-3.7) I work for a private investment firm, for a man who is one of the top contributors to the UC schools, attended Columbia himself. I work very closely with his accountant and executive assistant, which will hopefully be excellent people to write letters of rec (I have some others in mind as well). By the time I apply for transfer I will have been working here for one year, by the time I transfer out it will be around 1.5 years. I also intend to join my CC's finance/investment club very soon. My goal is to study international relations, and becoming a stockbroker, and ultimately a higher position as a portfolio/hedgefund manager (possibly internationally). I would like to acquire an internship during my undergraduate studies, work/intern once I graduate, and go to grad school for my M.B.A. In my spare time I like bodybuilding, surfing, buying/selling for profit, and am in a big virtual stock game (I placed 420 out of 12,000 people, not sure how important that is but thought I'd mention it :) ) I have been bodybuilding for several years, and plan on competing next year. I will be tying this into my essay, since it has played a significant role in my life. It has truly shaped who I am, giving me the confidence and determination I have. I have a clear goal in mind and I know I can achieve it, if I can just receive that on paper and show these universities that! :) Thank you for taking the time to read every of that :) Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Not sure how much this matters, but I am also Iranian, and have helped the youth in my community with holding past athletic events. I've also applied for the IGETC, and have guaranteed admission to every UC's except for Berkeley and UCLA, as long as I keep over a 3.0. I've heard for Berkeley and UCLA preferably you should have over a 3.5. Like I said, I'm working incredibly difficult on my grades and can almost guarantee I will have straight A's from here on out.

Resolved Question: India vs Pakistan!!!?

Pakistan has enjoyed a 6% growth rate since 1947. Bharat had an anemic 3% growth rate derisively known as the Hindu growth rate for 50 of the past 60 years–the last decade not withstanding. Bharat is one of the biggest debtor nations on the planet with debt from $250 billion to $3 trillion. 75% of Bharatis live on less than $2 per day. Most of the worlds needy make Bharat their home. 450 million Dalits, Untouchables and the like are slaves–half the population of Delhi, Mumbia, Kolkota, Benaras, Lucknow snooze on the sidewalk and the city charges them rent. When you receive of the plane in Mumbai–people are defecating in the airport floor–and you guys talk about economic development. In every human endeavor Pakistan is better or at par with Bharat. On one or two issues Bharat is slightly better. Pakistan was part of the most neglected and backward area of South Asia. The literacy rate in 1947 was 16%–today it is 65% and that of Indian Muslims still languishes at 26%. In 1947 Pakistan has one steel mill and one dilapidated textile mill and one non-functional university. Today Pakistan produces everything on the planet and exports planes–something that Bharat cannot do. It has 150 universities, some of the world class like Agha Khan University and GIST. Those afflicted by Pakistanphobia cannot look this, and will never be able to look this. Anti-Pakistanis will keep harping on the same old tunes taught to in Bharati KG classes. Pakistan has more than 80 TV channels, most of them discussing news and issues. Pakistanis also receive international and Bharati channels. They are very well aware of their neighborhood and about the West. Bharatis do not receive Pakistani channels and keep on repeating what was taught to them in the temple Pakistan is a Nuclear power which can and will destroy Bharat if it tries to step one inch into Pakistani territory. Neither American sanctions, nor threats have changed the national consensus on resisting foreign occupation and Bharati infiltration into Afghanistan. The information given about Pakistan is full of errors, and based on the Bharati media which only reports negative news about Pakistan Let us look at 60 years not just this year. Some Bharatis have not heard of the Suez $20 billion deal which is on hold–it will be sorted out soon, possibly to another vendor Turkey and Pakistan are building a $20 billion train line from Islamabad to Istanbul via Tehran linking every the countries to the EU. Pakistan and Tajikistan is building roads to link themselves to Uzbekistan with Russian help. Iran and Pakistan are building $7.5 billion Pipeline. This semester Pakistani Stock market was one of the best performing in the world. Pakistani stock provide a huge opportunity. The US has not refused Civilian Nuclear deal. It cannot. It needs Pakistan. It will arrive, but may take a little time. Even the Bharati 123 has not been operationalized. Pakistan has been recognized as a Nuclear Power at the Summit. This is a first step…other things will follow. The powerful Bharati lobby could not create sanctions on Pakistan or cease the KL bill or F-16s–its potency is a thing of the past. It is only the banya mentality that thinks that money is the only thing. Wiki is not accepted as a reference even in KG schools in the US In every human endeavor, Pakistan has either equaled, or surpassed Bharat. In a couple of areas that Bharat is better, it is only marginally better–this from a country which was the most backward part of South Asia in 1947 with only one dilapidated textile mill, one broken down jute mill and one non-functional university. today Pakistan manufactures everything, and exports K-8 planes and is exporting JF-17 Thunders. It is far ahead in missile and Nuclear technology than Bharat moving to Plutonium and 3rd strike capability. Is that true at every? I am Indian and (bharat means India).? I am really pissed off at the person who wrote this, a man named Moin Ansari, terrorist I think. ESPECIALLY the parts that he says Pakistan makes everything world class? What do they make world class? i never look Pakistani tv's? Car's? Computers? An the part when the bastard says has passed India in every endeavors? Hello, India has landed a rover on the Moon? Pakistan has launched a tiny communication satellite a little better than Sputnik? Dam, its people like this guy who make me just take a gun, go to Pakistan and just assassinate their president, i am sick of these dam Pakistani's making their country look like heaven when we every know what it really is....... When is Obama going to let the tanks roll into Pakistan rush!!! I'll join army then.

Spartan 500 Index - 40% Fidelity Freedom 2040 - 30% Pimco Total Return (Bond fund)- 15% Artio International Eq II CL - 15% Should I make any adjustments? What do you recommend? I'm also wondering if I should participate in the following funds: Allianz NFJ tiny-Cap Value Instl CL Morgan Stanley Institutional Fund Trust: Mid Cap Growth Portfolio Class I Shares American Funds® AMCAP Fund® Class R5 Dodge & Cox Stock **It will be over 30 years before I retire, so I'm willing to be risky. I'm aware that the target date fund (Freedom 2040) is designed to give me automatic diversification, but it doesn't include a mid-cap fund. And I'm not satisfied with the allocation of tiny cap funds in the freedom 2040. So I do somewhat agree with "MKC", about which funds too pick. I'm just not sure if I want 75% in the target fund. Also, I was below the impression that Spartan 500 index was a great fund to have because of the low fees opposed to the other mutual funds and because they generally outperform mutual funds. I'm definitely getting rid of at least 10% of Pimco or every of it. And I plan on slicing some Spartan in half. Nevertheless, I'm still interested in your suggestions; this is not my area of expertise. @ Common Sense, yes I know I have too much in the Spartan. Actually, and extra 15% was recently redirected there, due to my employer no longer participating in a growth fund I used to have.

Resolved Question: Do you think investing in solar energy companies at this time would be wise?

I came across "Envision Solar International Inc.(EVSI)" today. They are building solar trees in parking lots. The solar panels can track the movement of the sun to allow the panels to absorb more of the sun's energy during the day. In addition to providing shade for electric vehicles, customers will also be able to charge their vehicles. One is already in use at the Dell Co. headquarters. It's a penny stock currently selling at around $0.47 per share. This is the first company to do this. I'm thinking about purchasing 10,000 shares for the "future".

Voting Question: What am I suppose to do? HELP please?

You look, my parents are planning to send me back to Philippines because they believe that universities there are much better than the ones here in Qatar. Philippines had been my home for 13 years until we moved here in Qatar 2 years ago.And I , who had his mind set off on staying Qatar for the relax of his life, never thought that I'm gonna end up back in Philippines. Its just not what I expected to happen. That leaves me with no choice but to prepare myself for another phase of my life. However, I kinda forgot how to write properly in my native language though we always talk in our language in our home.Plus I'm no good at English too so now I'm in the vortex of confusion on how I'm gonna survive.Embarrassing I'd say because I'm studying in an International School where we are required to talk and write in English at every the time. Thus for a guy like me who came from an English-Speaking school and yet can't talk and write English the correct way will probably end up as the laughing stock of the class. For me that would be the worst case scenario. I just don't know how to handle this type of situation. And Im hoping to receive back sensible answers and suggestions from you guys.

Resolved Question: Conspiracy Theory. Do you find most of these thing as Nuts as I do?

Here is a sample of a Spoof on the past and latest. The WTF or World Task Force has released a new comprehensive study into every possible solutions to areas stricken with Over crowed schools, huge economic downturns and the increase in School and Business closures across America and globally. After many years of tax dollars and revenues from various state lottery dollars and taxes on revenues from Casinos the WTF published in the WTF Journal on 7/09/2010 a comprehensive solution to the crisis. According to the report from spokes person and client of WTF Mr. Bullshivik the solution is for kids to simply "Not Go." According to the findings this will result in the overall reduction of students so teachers can focus on actually intelligent kids who will benefit from a more direct eduction, and though as a by product this will mean more hooligans in the streets joining gangs and becoming likely to increase in involvement with illegal conduct such as drugs a d prostitution, the benefits will far outweigh the crisis as providing more intelligent specialized kids, increase in robotic technologies to supplant a dwindling work force, a resulting drop in excessive population issues allowing gang violence to increase and life threatening diseases to take out the extra baggage and justify the discontinuation of public assistance networks and services that are bankrupting the economy. In addition there will be better jobs available for those who abandon these regions who have received the education and such as health-care and related public services can be geared more towards the better social stock of the civilization and in the resulting slums allow nature to take its course. These regions can than be isolated and walled up and allowed to crumble and will be policed by armed soldiers and regional marshals to prevent the isolated regions that will be called WCS or World Controlled Sectors or CICs which are Civil Isolation Centers, to keep UIs or Undesirable Influences from Civil City Regions, or CCRs. Those that would otherwise continue to be a strain on the legal system including inmates from various prisons will also be reassigned to a CIC (pronounced Sick in English) which will further reduce the excessive expenses of having to build larger prison systems on valuable lands and potential centers of much needed resources and can be applied Internationally in order to preserve a Democratic Culture and Civil Society. Political Adviser, Harry Dickers agreed and expect the predominant targeted UIs to be the largest resistance in the New World Restoration Effort of home Bill NWRE 187 which also gives clear and decisive power of private vote to the new and intended UPELG-GA or Unified Political, Executive and Legislative Governance of Global Allience once such a program is initiated and will after a swift Military effort be more than sufficient in initiating the round up program called Operation Ditch the Dirt or ODTD and those who have been causing a financial burden not just in the US but in the World economy. This will include the Homeless, and those who are considered terminally sick, disabled, Mentally deficient or challenged, or don't talk the language, as well as addicts to illegal and prescription drugs, as anyone with any observable and irrevocable debts. The WTF and intended UPELG-GA plan on presenting this to countries with every the research and evidence below a secret UN meeting with nations most likely to support the efforts and the program models in exchange to private resources and shared economic benefits to the officials and their families as a UN bill called WDR or World Divine Retribution and believed it will pass with a 9 out of 10 percentile with the elimination of so called outmoded International laws. In addition the policy will allow for the discontinuation of trades with every other countries whose conditions and technological underdevelopment have only further served to stress global economic infrastructures and will be effectively clip off and allowed to perish at their possess hands, and any of those intending to try and invade or sneak into "restricted countries" will be executed as threats to the Global and International security of the intended UPELG-GA. This report by the WTF has been applauded as an intelligent and un-bias approach to solving the gift over every crisis the World is enduring and a Tribunal of members of the UPELG-GA will be considered as privately elected International Presidential Members. In addition Science and Technology will be the only accepted social truth in the new GA for short of the UPELG-GA and any and every religions, religious institutions and so forth will be effectively banned as psychologically detrimental to the over every progress of the New World Agenda. After the successful completion of the Agenda the Aliens will be more open to land and once more interact with the Superior global soc

i want to put a tapco stock on my yugo M59/66 sks and ia m wondering if it islegal. i heard that Century International arms replaced parts to make it a legal rilfe as in the whatever number of parts needed to make it count as american. wondering if this istrue i am saving the original furniture and i dont want an ak want an sks while i do appreciate the actual advice being given the flaming is not very welcome. i am keeping the wood furniture so that when i want to i have the stock one back. what history? the yugo sks that was "maybe" used in some obscure war i have never even heard about. for history i have my stock mosin nagant with the blood stain on the bayonet. i use this as a plinker rifle until i can keep enough money to build my ar-15. i am a college student making minimum wage and working part time so i dont make alot of money. looks like i will have to buy the entire compliance kit not just the stock. please keep the arrogance to yourself and stick with the question being asked. thank you. thanks metropol. i am keeping it to the point where if i want to make it stock i will be able to turn it back with no adverse affects. i dont mind it looking ugly. i just like the lightness factor and the gas tube rail for my aimpoint

Voting Question: Do you ever look at the facts when you decide to have a family?

There will be virtually nothing left to fish from the seas by the middle of the century if current trends continue, according to a major scientific study. Stocks have collapsed in nearly one-third of sea fisheries, and the rate of decline is accelerating. Writing in the journal Science, the international team of researchers says fishery decline is closely tied to a broader loss of marine biodiversity.

Resolved Question: International Protein Synergy 5 vs. Overseas Protein Brands (Particularly ON Gold Standard)?

i have been trying to research this Australian brand's product (Synergy 5) for a little while now and i've been getting mixed reviews from every retailer trying to sell me their stock. I have been taking ON Gold Standard and have been glad with it, but International Protein is an Australian company and i'd like to support them rather than an American company. However i'll only do this if their product stacks up against the competition. Anyone have experience with it or have some information that could help me out? To makes things a little bit more precise, my goals are to pack on some muscle mass and functional strength, not to just receive ripped or massive.

Resolved Question: If religious peacekeepers at the U.N. owned financial stock in war weapons would it be a conflict of interest?

If so, can the United Nations be given the needed power by the nations to take every that, that religion and their leaders have, if found to be a fact? Should international leaders seek to look if religious peacekeepers hide such facts in their book keeping some where? Could every the nations use that income, if found to be the true case? Have religious leaders ever been found to do such shameful things of any nice in the past? Would not war be a greater income for them over having peace and security? Keeping a conflict going some where in the world, would mean great income for them, true? If found to be true should not the nations go after their green greedy blood and cease the red blood of mankind from being taken from them in a needless war only to make the religious leaders wealthy? (look [Cannot adore God and riches at the same time, fact! One will be loved more!] Matthew 6:24) Holy wars would be a great income for them! But how holy is it in honest fact, if only the religious leaders benefit from it? Seek to look their financial books and look if they hide such conflict of interest facts! Is every the wars in the name of religion a clue something is not right there? Has the world been coned by those nice con guys? A lot of simple questions needed one simple answer! Has the world been coned by religious peacekeepers? Seek to look if that be the case! You know of any clues that might suggest that is a fact? Let us know please! MtoR signing up is easy said, The UN is not a religious organization Source(s): wish that was simple enough Yes MtoR signing up is easy said, but religion is right there riding the U.N.'s back! “The Healing of Nations” “Our world is filled with injustice and suffering. The history of mankind is the history of injustice and abuse of our fellow man. If we do not take these wounds seriously, we leave a time bomb within our societies which could explode at any moment.” This info is from Christian Mission U.N. link below. Gary your Opinion on a catchy slogan zealously going at the U.N. like "Peace and Security 24/7" to keep the time bomb from going off, will it unite people? http://www.christianmission-un.org/ "Dr. Gary I. Allen" You are right Nobody, I forgot those details until said something! "You are incorrect in assuming the UN is not a religious organization." So it is a church and state image but their gods are very weak not able to do great things they believed they could do. Jehovah kingdom in the hands of his Son Jesus Christ it is not even a little! It is a counterfeit wish unable to keep mankind for real! Counterfeit peacekeepers for real!

Resolved Question: Most known NBA teams in the world?

1. Chicago Bulls- I'm a Lakers fan and except in Spain due to Gasol, I sense the average guy not interested in basketball has heard about Michael Jordan and the Bulls first. Interesting fact: North Korean leader Kim Jong Il is such a big basketball fan that he regularly watches pirated satellite feeds of NBA games — and this despite the fact that he "does not allow its 23 million citizens access to cell phones, the Internet, international TV or free press." His favorite team is the Chicago Bulls. 2. Los Angeles Lakers- Its definitely a battle between Chicago and LA, I still think the Bulls are still better world known with the Lakers in a close second. 3. New York Knicks- Despite being a terrible team for the last 9 years and the laughing stock of the NBA, being the team of New York City, Madison Square Garden and ''the mecca of basketball'' is a strong factor 4. Boston Celtics- Its odd, because being the team with the most championships in NBA history should automatically make them the most popular team, but its not the case, they are still very popular though. 5. Miami Heat : this is more of a "future popularity", they are probably going to be the strongest marketing machine in the history of the NBA. And if they win, they will probably be well known even for the average citizen not interested in basketball.

Resolved Question: Why is it that Republicans, who got us into all of this mess, think they have the solutions?

Here is what the Republicans gave us: --needless wars --stock market collapse --health care policy that enriches pharma execs --reckless strategies in Afghanistan --ridiculous tax cuts --fairy tale social security ideas Seriously, Bush was an absolute failure in every way imaginable. He was an absolute idiot who couldn't even talk in English, yet the Republicans want him back in there. That is some of the most ridiculous BS I've ever read. I'm a white guy and I'll admit that it sounds like racism. Obama is no great president, but he is not half as bad as dumbo Bush was. Bush turned America into a laughing stock. He ruined out international reputation. Naive flag-wavers, please quit promoting your hate speech and just realize that Obama has inherited a mess from the stupidest president in American history. If Bush's dad hadn't been president, Bush would have been working at a hardware store.

Resolved Question: Do liberals actually know the definition of Socialism?

Socialism is defined (Merriam-Webster) as: 1 Any of various economic and political theories advocating collective or governmental ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods. 2 a. A system of society or group living in which there is no private property. b. A system or condition of society in which the means of production are owned and controlled by the state. 3 A stage of society in Marxist theory transitional between capitalism and communism and distinguished by unequal distribution of goods and pay according to work done. General Motors is a prime example of state run businesses, they still have yet to pay back the loan from the bailout, only the interest, and this was "too big to fail" run by the Unions, who support the Marxist in the White home. The United States owned 60.8 percent of the common stock of GM Socialistic Health Care "reform" is another example of the dismal failure of the Obama Marxist mentality. American International Group (AIG) takeover is another example of Obama's Socialistic agenda. The US government still owns almost 80 percent of AIG Obama's Teen Mentor was Frank Marshall Davis (a known CPUSA member) - "...through Frank Marshall Davis, Obama had an admitted relationship with someone who was publicly identified as a member of the Communist Party USA (CPUSA). The record shows that Obama was in Hawaii from 1971-1979, where, at some point in time, he developed a close relationship, almost like a son, with Davis, listening to his poetry and getting advice on his career path. But Obama, in his book, Dreams From My dad, refers to him repeatedly as just Frank." Source: Cliff Kincaid, Accuracy in the Media "Kathryn Takara of the University of Hawaii, who wrote a dissertation on the life of Frank Marshall Davis, confirming Davis was a significant influence on Obama when the senator attended Punahou prep school in Hawaii from 1975 to 1979" Source: Jim Corsi, WorldNetDaily based on Communism in Hawaii and the Obama Connection (Cliff Kincaid and Herbert Romerstein) President Obama is a socialist, a wealth-redistributing wolf in Democrat's clothing gnawing at America's entrepreneurial spirit.

Resolved Question: Opinions on my college admissions essay???

It's certainly not done or revised (so don't worry about grammar), but what do you think of the overall story and how it's presented? For eleven months, I was a loser, and they were the most promising months of my life. Eighteen players are selected to Ballistic Soccer Club each year. Out of nineteen players, I was the only one who evaded the coach’s interest- for the second straight year. The first time I missed the team, I blamed everyone excluding myself; the second year, I self-analyzed my demeanor, will-power, and physical and mental strength. My results? Wimpy, undetermined, fat, and whiny, I labeled myself a “Loser.” Surely, there was no wish left for me. Wrong! Change was necessary. Everything was a challenge. The soccer team had to be mine. Homework had to be perfect. Unfortunately, many people tend to neglect the importance of a consistent, arduous, daily routine. Everyday, I woke up at five o’ clock, ran three miles, went to school, studied, completed homework, and finished lifting weights at eleven o’ clock. This routine held true for eleven months, including holidays (I even asked Santa Claus not to fill my stocking with chocolate). After earning straight A-pluses (anything less would amount to being “Loser”), I still had to overcome the final wall- soccer tryouts. I still remember that day. My name was the first one announced. My coach realized my work ethic and granted me a starting position and captaincy. Nonetheless, I never became complacent. I continued my “success routine” and was recruited by a coach of a youth international team that played in Europe. After arriving home, I continued my captaincy up to today; albeit, I always fear complacency. To remind me of my “Loser days,” I stitched “LOSER” on my cleats. I continue to wear those shoes.
